Willow Housing Co-Operative Est. 1984

A Housing Co-op

Turnover February 12, 2009

Turnover 2012 = 7 people have left. 5 Male and 2 Female. (2:1) Current Members – 15 Adults and 6 children. (1:1)

Turnover 2011 = 13 People moved on (19 stayed) 28 current members. Of the total 24 were male and 17 were female.

Turnover 2010 = 32 People moved on (8 stayed)  30 end of year members.
Of the total 39 were male and 23 were female. (2:1)

80% of them were referrals from our own waiting list.

Turnover 2009 = 38 People moved on (6 stayed)  22 end of year members.

Of these 41 were male and 19 were female. (2:1)

75% of them were single homeless referrals from the CAPS team – NCC’s referral agency.

The problem with such a high turnover is many people have little time to get involved, so most of the work has to be done by the Treasurer (tenant since 1997) and Chair (tenant since 1991). We have recently housed 3 families and are looking for people who would like to get involved in the Co-operative.
